That depends on the grade level and subject you are requesting tutoring in. Please see OUR PRICING or contact us directly by phone or email.
3. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, money orders, and all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa). Please see PAYMENT POLICIES for details on making payments.

An invoice is created for each session.
Please see PAYMENT POLICIES for details.
6. What are Math-A-Matics Tutoring, LLC’s payment policies?
We have a one-hour minimum policy, as well as a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please see PAYMENT POLICIES for details.
7. How do I sign up for tutoring?
Please fill out our inquiry form on the CONTACT US page. Once we have reviewed your information, we will contact you to set up a free consultation to schedule tutoring.
8. Where do I meet the tutor?
Math-A-Matics Tutoring, LLC makes getting help convenient; our tutors meet you simply over your internet connection. We can arrange for you to meet or tutor at a mutually agreed upon public location within our service area if necessary. Note that a responsible adult must be present at all times when the tutoring sessions involve a minor child.
9. Must a responsible adult be present at all times during a tutoring session?
Yes. In fact, our tutors are contractually prevented from tutoring if a parent or responsible adult is not present during a tutoring session.
10. How do I know what the qualifications of my tutor are?
Please read our BECOME A TUTOR page. There it lists all the necessary requirements that every tutor must have before applying. Also, once you have been assigned a tutor, you will be provided with specific information about your tutor, including his/her educational background and teaching/tutoring experience. If you have more questions, please contact the office and we will be happy to provide more detailed information.
11. Are criminal background checks executed on your tutors?
You can rest assured that our tutors have a clean criminal record because all tutors must pass a standard, 7-year criminal background check.
12. Do you personally interview and train every tutor?
Yes. We have a strict recruitment process, and only one in ten tutors is good enough to work on our team. Every tutor is fully trained on all aspects of the American Tutoring Learning System.
13. How long are sessions?
There is not a set length of time for a session; however, we have a one-hour minimum policy. If the tutor is asked to stay less than an hour, the session will count as one hour. Sessions lasting longer than one hour are rounded to the nearest fifteen minutes. On average, sessions last between one and two hours.
14. What if the tutor isn’t a good fit?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your tutor, please contact the office ASAP and we will match you with a new one.
15. What if I don’t like something the tutor is doing/not doing?
Usually, such concerns can be directly addressed with the tutor. If you would prefer, you may always contact the office directly and let us know of your concerns. We will then speak to the tutor and resolve the matter for you.
16. What if I need to cancel a scheduled session?
If you need to cancel a session, please call the tutor directly at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Log in to your account for your tutor’s contact information. For missed or late cancellations the regular lesson fee applies. We understand that sometimes unexpected events occur; as a courtesy, Math-A-Matics Tutoring, LLC discounts the first cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance to half the normal fee.
